Are we just not going to be free anymore?
Why isn't anybody getting impeached? Why does the news not tell the truth anymore? Is the money so good that there are just no good people in this country anymore?

1. It's too profitable
It's too profitable to let America be what it use to be. I am old enough to remember some freedom and having an idea of what the American dream was. Mega corporations have changed that. The only freedom that means anything, the right to free speech that means anything, the right to privacy that means anything is held by the corporations. They dictate what we buy, eat, wear and listen to. They control what is appropriate to think, they are making profits by privatizing, or coporatizing war. Only their word has meaning or will be acted upon by anyone.

The Constitution has been hijacked by corporations. There should be no Constitutional rights for corporations. I can only express this on the internet. The internet is something that the corporations can only facilitate but cannot totally control. But, they are working on that, believe me. :dem:

4. I don't know how we'll ever correct
that 19th century error.

3. Apparently Not - Freedom Isn't Free, Haven't You Heard
the Repug talking points. Apparently only those able to afford freedom are going to have it from now on.

5. I was just ranting to my wife
as i do pretty much incessantly, that it's like being in a Twilight Zone episode. No matter WHAT happens, the pod people just grunt and turn back to "American Idol" or something.

They have the moving truck backed up, they are hauling the furniture out, and we are just sitting there in our underwear watching tv and drinking beer. They are like fighter aircraft with diversionary tactics. Incoming missile? No problem - just drop some chaff, it will veer off and fall harmlessly into the ocean.
