Sarah smoked dope too...
I wonder if the right-wing radio assholes (Hannity, you know who you are) will even mention it, much less make a big fucking deal out of it like they do with Obama's teenage usage??

1. I think they need to smoke more and often to get rid of their nastiness!

2. It's OK if you say you didn't like it.
As for myself, I haven't liked pot for over 30 years.

8. I don't like it either
and I'm going to not like it at least twice more before I go mow the lawn.

9. Oh man. You're gonna have to fill me in on how well that goes when mowing the lawn.
Never tried that. Seems like it would take FOREVER. :P

12. Not at all. It becomes a zen experience
And it doesn't seem to take as long as I think it should. It helps that I have a German Shepherd. I go pull out the lawn mower and the GS runs around the yard picking up her bones and toys. She either takes them into the house or onto the deck. She also picks up sticks. She's a great dog. I wait until she's done picking up stuff in the yard then I give her a treat and start mowing.

fwiw, I didn't "teach" her to pick the yard before I mow. She watched me do it and started "helping" me. Now she likes to do it for me. She's a German Shepherd, she can't help herself.

15. I don't mind either.
I smoke quite a lot, but I always find the energy to go do something. Not at first, mind, but after some eight years of persistant smoking you just seem to get 'through' it. Now I can read a book, respond on forums, play 2-table poker and listen to the news all at the same time, while being too stoned to fish. Officially.

Makes me a Green-neck, doesn't it?

16. LOL. I hear you.
As we used to say back home, "it's not just for breakfast anymore." ;) I'm generally more productive, energetic and happier when I smoke. It's helped me stay focused on whatever task I've put my mind to whether it is mowing the lawn or getting through law school.

My husband is like you. He'll play a couple of tables of online poker (usually a tournament and a couple of table games), online chess and likes to write. He keeps everything straight and just alt-tabs his way through the various screens when they start blinking.

5. Perhaps the only good thing she's done.
Take a look, a really good look at that convention. Have you ever seen a group of people more in need of a pause for the cause?

6. are you serious? of course not. see, it's different for them
than it is for the rest of us.

short little sean and his buddies big fat rush, et. al., understand that because right-wingers are such special people, rules that apply to the rest of us don't apply to them.

for example, sean himself didn't finish college. he was a construction worker before he began his talk radio career. yet he's perfectly qualified as a political theorist and expert on global geopolitical matters.

get that through your silly head! they're special people. sarah could have smoked a pound of herb a day and f*cked half the mooses in alaska and it would be allright.

10. We've had 2 presidents admit to using drugs, and now both Pres. and VP candidates
The real scandal here is that someone who has admitted to using drugs still supports the War on Drugs (Clinton, W. Bush, Obama, Palin...)

11. Hannity will make some excuse or another
for Palin. Yesterday, in referring to Palin's daughter's pregnancy, he said that he made some mistakes when he was a teenager, but he turned his life around and straightened out.

And to be honest, it shouldn't be an issue anyway. Who didn't try a few things as a teenager?
