Republicans Always Put "Country First".
Edited on Thu Sep-04-08 05:16 PM by louis c
But which country?

Republicans (Bush and McCain) favored the Dubai port deal that would have given our port security to a country that recognized the taliban as the legitimate government of Afghanistan prior to 9/11/01. Two hijackers were UAE citizens, and half the money was traced there. (source, 9/11 commission)

Republicans have favored every "free trade" deal that forced our good jobs overseas. They even gave companies tax breaks to encourage them.

McCain favored handing out military in-flight refueling planes to a French company.

Republican controlled committees and the President agreed to have the engines for our military helicopters, including the President's Marine one model, built in England.

In Missouri, the republican controlled State legislature is handing over their toll road to a private company from Australia.

Ya, you guys and gals are just so thoughtful about putting "country first".

It's just not America that you put first. It's your Damned multinational corporate puppet masters whose strings can very well emanate from another country.

2. When I saw that banner, "Country First",
my first thought was that it really meant "Whites First."
Something along the line of thought like;

"One People, one Empire, one Leader."

This phrase sounds more honest in its original German.
