Schumer was the last guest. Talked about Halliburton's move to Dubai, the Patriot Act excesses under AG Gonzalez, and how Bush wouldn't be impeached.

Rosie's "Sing, Scooter, sing!" was the closing note leading to a break. IMHO, Rosie knows that any songfest from Scooter would bring forth grounds for impeachment.

All in the last half-hour.

7. Schumer is a slick DLC hack.

I watched Imus this morning to catch Imus & Matalin Reduxe, and they played a repeat of an interview with Schumer on last Friday apparently. After listening to Schumer tapdance over why he hadn't been to Walter Read since the war started and some of the crap he's said over the past few years, he's appearing to be more and more like a smoother version of Lieberman.

about Schumer. My parents told me about a week after the Iraq War started up, they asked him why he voted for the war. Schumer said that, I'm not making this up, he had to do something. He lost my vote permanently after that.

Did he actually say Bush had done nothing to merit impeachment thus far?

I'm going to assume that's his cover for "we don't have the votes", "I don't want to" or similar, as he simply cannot be that dense or in such deep denial.

There are times I like Schumer and there are times when he's such an ass you want to put a feed bag over his mouth.

... Walter Reed stuff and fired US attorneys. Those hearings kept the media spotlight shining on those topics.
