I cant watch CNN anymore
The former Faux Noise bimbo is ruining CNN for me. I already cannot watch MSNBC because I have a central nervous system. Last week, I reduced my cable package from 200+ down to 40+ and I'm this close to just pulling the whole plug, but I wanted to keep some sports shows (baseball/ football). I think that I'll just start hanging out at the sports bar downtown.

2. Chiran Chetry (sp)
She's the brunette that's on right now. I only know because my dad used to watch it before I reprogrammed his remote

8. Yes, it is!
All bought out by corporate media. And G2 now has headlock on PBS, so it's INN or Free Speech TV for me!
If there are any other credible agencies, please let me know! Thnx in advance.

9. it is really shameful, how sanitized the US media is,
and everyone else in the world knows whats happening speaking mostly for BBC world, if you can get it. This media should be held for treason and for not informing the electorate of the true facts.

5. I know what you mean...
The first night I saw her I had to do a double take...I couldn't believe it I had just saw her about a week or so before on fox and I was screaming at the tv. When I saw her on Anderson cooper with John roberts I just kept wondering what she was thinking, when I see her I switch channels.

7. I ditched my satelite recently
When it came right down to it most of the honest news nowadays is online, and everything else can normally be picked up in DVD sets without outrageous commercials pushing the disguist envolope.

10. On a positive note, RITA COSBY will be off the air as of April 1
Her contract at MSNBC was not renewed, so at least we won't have to live in fear of coming across her anymore (for now).

12. I blocked them out in 02
right after the mid terms, cnn has lost credibility, lost it years ago after ted sold out. I don't watch cable entertainment masquerading as news. I do just fine here at DU and the rest of the net.

13. You don't need TV news at all, you have DU
There are enough news junkies here that we get all the news from all over the world as it happens. I let let my less squeamish brethren crawl about in the darkest of holes and hold up what they've discovered domestically. We have so many national and international choices that we simply don't need the MSM pap. When I'm at work I use Buzzflash as a back door to get here so I get an alternative dose before I show up here.

Do you ever get the feeling that many who post here are associated with the media in some way? The print media in particular? A disporportionate number seem to have immediate access to breaking news.
I love this place.

14. PBS and BBC
I either read blogs and/or watch "News Hour" and BBC, both American and British to get news. It's pretty bad when you have watched a debate or hearing on CSpan and know what the anchors are giving you is a line of bull.

I have been begging Dish Network to carry CSpan 3 but no luck. It's irritating to have to have one of the more expensive packages so you can watch History Channel, Discovery Times and other documentary stations. I can't remember the last time Faux News was on in my house

15. I Get MY News Here
DU is my primary source for news.

I gave up some time ago watching Cable news.

The news that is here comes from like-minded people and is presented in an accurate way.

And you cannot beat the analysis of the news here!

16. I stopped watching CNN in 2004 before the election
I wrote them a letter telling them exactly why I wasn't watching them anymore. In 2005 I dropped cable entirely. I get my news off the web now.
