New Ann Coulter Book Coming in October

NEW YORK (AP) - While conservative pundit Ann Coulter has been dropped by several newspapers for using an anti-gay epithet regarding Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards, she remains in good standing with her book publisher.

The Crown Publishing Group, a division of Random House Inc., plans an October release for her next book, "If Democrats Had Any Brains, They'd Be Republicans."

"We have a book with her on our fall list and have no plans on altering our current publication plans," Crown publisher and senior vice president Steve Ross told The Associated Press in a recent e-mail. "Every book we have published with Ann has been a major best seller and we expect the same with the upcoming title."

I actually read her book Slander. I thought I needed to challenge myself. The main point of the book seemed to be that Liberals can't think of any good arguments or justifications for their viewpoints, so they just call Conservatives "stupid."

Yet, such insulting fare lately seems to be all Ann Coulter can summon up as "debate" against Liberals.

To continue publishing them. I personally find right-wing political book titles to be an insult to printing press, I don't think I'd like what's actually written in them.

She gets really riled when someone mentions the fact that her books always show up on best-seller lists with the bulk sales icon next to the title. RW groups pre-order them by the case-load, and them 'dump' them into discount stores.

Ann's response: "They put the bulk sales icon next to every book written by a conservative." Damn that liberal media!
