The McCain camp is going to have to get McCain and Palin off the same stage together quickly
The contrast between the two makes McCain look like a doddering old fool.

This is an image that won't wear well on the electorate.

3. He does kinda look like her grandpa, on furlough from the home.
But I doubt anyone on his campaign staff has the balls to tell him that.

6. Why be concerned about that?
Edited on Wed Sep-10-08 10:09 AM by Cronus Protagonist
This is something we should encourage - this is not FR, you know :)

And McCain IS a doddering old fool - the lipstick doesn't change that, although it does help to highlight it, to our benefit. :P

7. If they're ever apart for an appearance, they're going to have to bus in some
folks from area senior centers to fill in the seats for McPerv.

9. Actually I think he has a valid reason for that
He has had several melanomas removed from his head and face, I would guess the cap is pretty much a must when he goes out in the sun.

He probably should get a new one though - we all know he was in the Navy.

10. The funny thing is that they can't.
She's lost without McCain or cue cards, and he draws small crowds without her.

11. That's what I was going to say.
They don't dare let her out without a minder because she has no idea what to say about stuff. She doesn't know anything about anything.

And McCain can't bring in crowds by himself.

14. So far she seems to be repeating her acceptance speech over and over and over
Wonder how long it will take her to learn another speech? Of course, right now they are stuffing her to be ready for her ABC interview, so it will probably be October before she can trot out and parrot a different speech.

15. Agreed..When They Are Together McSame Looks Like
some comatose local Repug hack instead of a 'presidential candidate'...If the MSM could get Palin alone and ask the hard questions, Sarah would fold like the house of cards she really is.
