How ironic, our puppet president wants 4,700 more troops sent to his oil war with "no strings" attached. Its good to be the king, eh George? Bush in Bogota announced yesterday he expected Congress to send in these "reinforcements" to the surge AND to continue supplemental funding of the carnage without any conditions or stipulations - no strings at all.

Then he ordered a PBJ on wonderbread - without crusts and cut into perfect diamonds, a glass of milk cooled to precicely 42 degrees and Thomas the Train PJs, flannel only.

Then there's this, the Army sugreon general - Wiley Kiley - has been "asked" to resign after a week of unbelievable Congressional testimony on the Walter Reed scandal last week. Maybe it was his "I don't do inspections" comment about his not knowing about the atrocities that were occurring right under his nose - literally - as he lives yards away from the facility. This after the Army Secretary and Walter Reed commander wer both forced to resign. Gee, sure looks like a bigger scandal/coverup in afoot.

And finally, we'll take a closer look at the latest Constitution-shredding, civil rights-eroding, secret and illegal spying on American citizens, this time by Bush's FBI. Why hasn't Mueller resigned?

Found out that Sesame is going to need knee surgery for Patella Luxation. Oh my gawd.

Hugs to my poor little Sesame. :hug: Well Skid's blood tests showed that everything was in normal range. He has to go back on Friday for urinalysis and if that doesn't show anything, she said she'd do some x-rays. The vet told me to put him in his carrier a couple of hours before we bring him in because his bladder was empty when we brought him last week. He's gonna hate me.

68. Sesame says Meow Meow smokey nj ! Thanks a lot for the hugs.

She has Patella Luxation. She's so young! Her little knee keeps popping out and she cries out because it really is painful. Then she lifts her leg. In a minute in pops back in and she goes her merry way. So it keeps happening more and more. Vet gave me lots of info on the subject.

So I will contact the surgeons at another facility. I don't want her to go too long.

Apparently this condition is what her dad had, it's hereditary.


Sounds pretty promising with Skid. At least nothing serious is showing up. Let us know what's next with the tests! Hugs to Skid !!! :hug:

There's no need to feel embarrassed. Skid's seems fine, except he's lost weight and seems to be drinking a lot of water. His blood work was normal, so the vet wants to do urinalysis to see if there's anything going on.

Quick & Easy Recipes from Around the World. I've been struggling to try to wean my family for a while and I hope that this will help a little more!

We need to be closer to be our food! We had a fight a few nights ago because I wanted to plant foodstuffs around the pool fence and I even said that I would incorporate the daylillies, etc. around the food plants, and that I wanted a separate garden area (which we've had in the past), but I wanted more of a variety in it! You would've thought that I'd mentioned something unholy! Growing foodstuffs must be blasphemous or something!

For now, I think I'm gonna get some of what I want, mainly because I've already purchased some bibb lettuce plants, and some broccoli plants, and the kids are making out a shopping list of the plants that they want!

Just doing what I can to try to contribute to the health of the planet and trying to diminish my footprint. :hi:

edit: to include to...if I look at this again and if there is more to clean up, I may and then again, I may just go to bed.

The good thing is that he shows absolutely no sign of anything wrong. He eats, plays, and makes a general pain of himself, as usual. He doesn't seem to feel any pain when I touch and feel it, so I don't think it's something serious, but I am going to take him to the vet to be safe. He's my only kid after all. :)
