LIST: Name Instances That Show Republicans Consider Americans Expendable
From the military to medicine, from intelligence agencies to American industries...

The right of the American political spectrum has shown a total disregard for its fellow Americans, as well as the rest of Humanity. And while they poo-poo Charles Darwin's scientific work on Natural Selection, they are the most ardent worker bees of Social Darwinism. It may be a bit over the top to call them a "kinder, gentler, NAZI", but does anyone doubt who they would have stood with if they had been alive in 1937? Hell, if they had been alive in 1776 they'd have sided with that other King George as well.

But I digress...

If interested, pick a situation, a story, a subject area, whatever you want, to demonstrate that the so-called pro-life party is not just dismissive of life, but dismissive of OUR lives... their fellow citizens lives.

And then let them choke on it.

:grr:

4. K&R
All they care about is staying in power, and raping the American people out of every penny they can get. They bow to corporate interests, and have absolutely no concern at all about those of us who are not rich or powerful.

I am including the shrill right-wing fundies like Falwell, Dobson, Robertson, et. al, because they are powerful, and do have money. The United Methodist church was against the war, but they were ignored, as was the Pope at the time, John Paul. That's because they use the fundies to gain votes, by pressing hot buttons like abortion, and anti-gay legislation.

The Republics use them to appeal to voters who care more about dictating women's freedom of choice, and consenting adult's rights to form marriages which are in accordance with their sexual preferences.

The only way they stay in power, since so many of their policies are clearly contrary to the best interests of the average citizen, is to hype homophobia, religious prejudices, and fear of attack by terrorists. Everything they do is self-serving, and only causes the rest of us harm.

9. Just look at their agenda - tax cuts for millionaires,
Edited on Mon Mar-12-07 11:15 PM by LibDemAlways
never-ending war, privatization of Social Security, cut social programs, no health care for anybody who can't afford to pay big $$, no increase in the minimum wage, shitty conditions in VA hospitals, cuts in Veterans benefits....the list is long.

There are only two kinds of repukes - the wealthy whose motto is "I've got mine. Fuck you." and delusional "values" voters who've got kool-aid running through their veins and are so brainwashed they think it's a good thing that the party and politicians they love continually give them nothing but lip service and empty promises about stopping abortion and preventing gay marriage. Getting the suckers to the ballot box and then ignoring them afterwards is standard repuke operating procedure. Chimp and Cheney must laugh their asses off at how gullible "the base" is.
