This is a huge political statement about the death of Captain America by Marvel.

The new york times had a story on the death of captain america

Caption America, as I understand it, went against the government and probably died because of it.

Did you see Dodd on TDS? I don't know what to think about that, but I guess he was okay. I didn't see anything that bad about him, but then what do I know? ;-)
