Thanks to the DUers who gave me some pointers a few weeks back...

No Common Sense

There have been some amazing news revelations lately that really defy all logic and call into question the basic competence of the decision makers in the White House. Here are the facts. First, the vast majority of American casualties in Iraq have been caused by Sunni insurgents. That is not in question. Second, the Bush administration claimed to have now debunked evidence that the Shiites in Iran are supplying weapons to Shiites inside Iraq. Third, in order to combat Iran helping the Shiites, the Bush White House has been supplying money to the Sunni government of Saudi Arabia. The Saudi government is, in turn, funneling this money to Al Qaeda. So, the Team Bush plan is that in order to stop the Shiites in Iran from supplying the Shiite death squads with weapons that the Iraqi Shiites can easily make themselves and that are primarily targeting Sunnis, we are funding the Sunni insurgents, who are primarily targeting our soldiers and have been the main instigators in the civil war and funding Al Qaeda, who caused 9/11. I think I have seen more common sense on elementary school playgrounds.
