Has Bush been sounding more mentally deficient recently?
I listened to a story on Bush's visit to Guatamala on NPR this morning and just couldn't believe how impaired our unelected president sounded. He couldn't pronounce subsistence. He declared that carrying lettuce at a vegetable-packing plant was "really, really fun" and "one of the great experiences of my presidency."

He sounded so bad that I actually went looking for the clip and found it here:

Has he been drinking more or what?

1. He thinks he is being very, very humorous....
A belief that is probably being fueled by alcohol. Been there, done that myself.

2. Somebody should have told him that the Brazilian ethanol was for fuel
not internal consumption.

3. he was only slightly brighter than a head of lettuce . . .
. . . and that was before the Jim Beam and coke.:dunce:

(But yeah, he's definitely getting worse and worse. Why they let him roam the world is beyond me.)

4. "It was really, really fun"...
If my 3rd grader wrote that on a homework assignement, I would tell him to rewrite it.

On Edit:
White House Press Spokesman Tony Snow says that the President misspoke when he said
"really, really fun". What he meant to say was that it was "really, really REALLY fun".
