think they need to lecture their fellow Americans on what the war on terror is all about?

If you want to see evidence of this phenomenon, check into C-SPAN's Washington Journal whenever the topic is Iraq. This morning, for example, you would have seen such a genius from Alabama condescend to sadly pontificate to listeners on what it means to be a good American in a time of war against Islamic infidels. And of course Congressman Rickets (I think), Republic from Mississippi, was only too pleased to be the conduit for these words of wisdom.

:puke: :patriot:

1. Yep... I have many Customers that have the same view (s).
They will discount ALL the Scientific evidence for Earth, Time, Evolution, Stars and what have you but will Literally believe a (badly written) Book that was written hundreds of years after the fact by people who thought the Earth was flat.

Simply Amazing...

2. I'm waiting for theories of biblical chemistry to explain how Lot's wife was
converted from a biological, zoological, medical, etc. entity into a heap of sodium chloride.

5. A science book written by, of and for
people who believed the earth was flat and the center of the universe.

There's a lot of good reading in the bible, but perhaps the natural history parts should be taken with a grain of salt. Maybe even a pillar of salt.

6. I teach a Bible study and the first thing I teach is that "the Bible is
not a science book". When they do think that they have totally missed the real message of the Bible: Redemption and forgiveness.
