New book describes heated Bush admin meeting with Tenet exploding in profanity and Condi crying

http://voices.washingtonpost.com/washingtonpostinvestigations/2008/09/cheney_misled_gop_leaders_new.html

<snip>

"Angler" recounts a meeting in the Situation Room in which the frustrated president, jamming a finger toward Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, demanded the start of long-delayed criminal proceedings against terrorist suspects held at Guantanamo Bay. "We are going to have a trial," Bush said, "and the proceedings are going to start by the end of January" 2004. Cheney and Rumsfeld failed to turn up for three consecutive meetings called by Rice to carry out the president's command.

On their third no-show--a month after Bush's deadline expired--CIA Director George Tenet exploded in profanity, Gellman reports. And Rice began to cry.

4. Congress doesn't have the guts even to impeach
What are the chances these criminals will ever answer for war crimes?

3. It wouldn't surprise me.
"Cheney and Rumsfeld failed to turn up for three consecutive meetings called by Rice". I expect no one paid much attention to her unless her husb....boyfriend was actually in the room.

5. Condi is a pathetic child. Propped up and coached. Window dressing for evil men.
I actually feel a little sorry for her.

Clarence Thomas, on the other hand, evokes no such sympathy from me. He is a weasel stooge.

6. Well, January, 2004 was the beginning of his election year.
So it's clear why Bush wanted action when he wanted it.

It's also no surprise Dick and Don didn't show up for the meetings. They ignore Congressional subpoenas, so why bother with a stupid meeting?

7. Sarah Palin, take note
You are being used, just like Condi. You will be ignored, should you ever hold office.

13. Rice and Palin
Palin can in NO way be compared to Rice. Policies aside, Rice has many achievments. Palin is a vacuous bimbo who can't hold a candle next to most women in Washington.

15. Palin's dirty like her running mate
I don't think that Palin would allow anyone to ignore her. She's a liar and conniver and I think she'd fit right in with the other dirty Republicans.
