Gonzo presser: No microphones for the press questions..

They do this all the time. I noticed it big-time during the 2000 election coup.

We don't get to really hear the questions. Only the response spin from whatever fascist they stick in front of the mike.

I believe "shot-gun" directional mikes have been around since the late-forties, but I could be wrong...maybe the early-fifties. Does anyone think this is just persistant oversight on the part of whoever is producing this crap?
