2. A belated welcome to DU rec_report
That's a good point but once again bush and his gang of thugs screwed up. They didn't kill all the lawyers and now they are alive and well to haunt them. Similarly if the troops had just died on the battlefield instead of coming back to Walter Reed, that clusterfuck from the bush administration wouldn't have reared its ugly head. Not one "conservative" would have cared if they all died.

If you missed it:

The Halliburton (Profit) Surge, the US and Iraqi Dirge --The Rec Report --By Michael Rectenwald 12 Mar 2007 Cheney still has the audacity to stand before a powerful "American" lobby and tell us that his war profiteers need more money! ...It takes a stock surge to make a believer in the military surge.

18. Oh, OK. I guess we should get rid of the ACLU then.
And Lambda Legal Defense.
And the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Abe Lincoln was a trial lawyer, so I suppose we shouldn't have elected him either.

22. I gotcha.
I've often wondered why John Edwards didn't bring up Lincoln when he was attacked for his profession.

Maybe he did, and the media didn't cover it (because THAT'S never happened before).

Welcome to DU.
