one, he even pretended to give a damn about people here in the US

two, he wasn't already cutting revenues WHILE spending like crazy

and three, he actually made sure the money went to help the boor in South America.

honestly, I think Republicans talk a good game on foreign aid because they know its free money, no one can say no to it, and they don't have to actually follow through. After all, if the money is going to aleviate foreign poverty, who can truly say whether or not he is good to his word. I always suspected why he was such a proponent of something almost like socialism for the "new" Iraq (free schools, free medical care, etc), seems its because it sounds nice, and no one ever follows up to see if the promises are being kept. So the money can either disappear or be used to fund other projects

about a bogus E-Mail making the rounds on the WWW. The thrust of this piece of BS was that our troops in Iraq have had their rations cut because the Dems have cut the funding for the war.
