There are a little over 100,000 members at DU. So, how many rape survivors would that be? Should they "lighten up"?

I sometimes wish that only adults were here. People who would NEVER ever make rape jokes or teacher screwing kid jokes or....how many frakking pedophile stories and threads have there been in the last week?

I really didn't know I was in a playground at a Jr. High School.

It's disheartening.

I sometimes wonder when people make idiot jokes...don't they get it? There are rape victims right HERE. Do they think those folks will find humor in it? Ugh. I get tired of being accused of being politically overly correct when it's something everyone should be correct about. It is sickening.
