The Media and the First Lady of France
Why does the American media care so much about the first lady of France? In addition, is the media's attention to Carla Bruney make it possible for women like Sarah Palin to run for Vice President with very little experience? I believe the Today Show discribed Carla Bruney "fascinating". I do not see what is so "fascinating" about Carla Bruney.

It would be similar to if Say Gerald Ford had divorced Betty during his admin and married, say Cheryl Tiegs.
