Today, I changed my opinion of Hillary. Big whoopdeedoo, right?
In watching Gonzales on t.v. today and looking at all the
corruption, crime, treachery and debauched behavior in
Washington, it occured to me that political life is NOT
for the weak of heart or nambie pambies.

I had a realization today about Hillary. The
thing I didn't like about her was that she
just seems "too tough." But you know --
faced with the treachery and EVIL of the players
into today's government, you have to
tough or you will be CRUSHED.

Just having the guts to stand up takes toughness.
I am reconsidering my view of Hillary.

2. Do you mean some kind of psychological toughness?

I am not a shrink -- but I have not seen "Hillary" stand up for any controversial issues -- perhaps in the media she displays a tough persona, but that could be just a act, a kind of con job.

It takes more courage to be for - peace - rather then war; at all times, not just when one wants to be president.

3. Precisely
To me, Hillary does not seem tough. She seems calculating. There's a difference.

She attempts to project strength while at the same time not taking any particular position. Take her position on the war for example. She states that it is wrong and she pledges to end it, while at the same time not explaining or apologizing for voting for it. Her positions on a lot of issues are like this; they can be interpreted either way depending on what you choose to look at. She attempts to win by not losing, which leaves me wondering just what she stands for.

5. Calculating Is My Take Too
Perhaps it is necessary to prevail in politics but I prefer to know what I am getting ahead of time.

6. Toughness? Or perhaps courage?
It takes courage to choose to stand for peace when it is politically expedient to stand for war. How many in Congress had the "toughness" or courage to take the stand for peace when it was in fact the right thing to do? Unfortunately they were and still are in the minority today.

Look at the people who were opposed to the Vietnam War back in the 1960's and 1970's. John Kerry was one of those tough guys.

It's easy to join the crowd and play tough when everyone else is playing tough.

The problem I still have with Hillary is that she hasn't even fully retracted from her war-hawk position, after all the deceit and fraud that has been a part of this war. At least John Kerry had the toughness to realize that the war was wrong in his day.

7. I always say, if an idiot like Bush can get a job that requires intelligence,
logic, following the law and great negotiation skills, none of which he possessed, yet he's still president, then Hillary is FAR more qualified to run our country than Bush could even dream of. which he wouldn't because he only dreams of blowing up men, children and women in his sleep.
