What became of the southern accent Gonzales used to have?

He used to sound like Elmer Fudd with a drawl very recently as I remember. Does he lose the Texas drawl when he gets scared?

4. He's scared, but I'm not sure of what. I can't really explain why

the accentmostly disappears when people get VERY SERIOUS, but I've seen it happen before, and not only with Shrub either.

It wasn't only me who saw the fearin Gonzo yesterday. The accent, smirk, and arrogance was GONE! I still haven't figured out what is scaring him. Is it HIM losing his job, someworse information about to come out, threats from one or more senior members of this admin????? I don't know YET, but I'm sure we'll find out soon.

13. I think it's more than that. Gonzo is smart enough to know how to

stay out of the mess that Scooter got himself into. No, I think it's more serious that just seeing Scooter convicted. I know when I posted yesterday how shocked I was at Gonzo's demeanor during that Press Conference, H2O Man said he believed Gonzo KNOWS there is much worse news to come out soon. So far, H2O man has been close to perfect on his predictions! We'll see.

is gone and his voice went up about three steps.
