Did you realize the AK bridge to nowhere is being built!

You remember, the one Ted Stevens threatened to leave the Senate over if they revoked the money! I just heard a report on CNN that said the Senate removed the "earmarks" but let AK keep the money to be spent however Alaskans decided to spend it. Aparently, the Gov. decided to build the damn bridge...in fact there are TWO bridges. Theone in Ketchikan (sp)that connects to an island where 50 people live, and another one that connects Anchorage to some uninhabited island where developers expect a building boom after there is access.

IMO, this is absolute BS! Iwas ONE who thought that silly bridge idea was DEAD!
