because they know their base is too ignorant to know better. Cutting funding will not jeopardize the troops if they are brought home in an orderly fashion and soon. Just more conservative scare tactics. We are supposed to remain in a constant state of fear and depend on bush to save us from all evil. How's that working out?

doesn't equate to stopping the war, not for this administration anyway. They will force the soldiers to fight withoput pay, without food, without equipment....... and claim it's all the Democrats fault.

is to get them home ASAP? It is disgusting to me to learn that wounded vets and PTS patients are being sent back to Iraq and Afghanistan. What will happen to them over there or does anyone in the military and administration really care. Time to IMPEACH!!!!

The GOP keeps saying we don't want to jeopardize the troops.
My point is, the troops are already in jeopardy.
They are dying. How much more in jeopardy can we place
a troop than making them targets of an unwinnable war?

If I were in Congress, I would SCREAM at them, saying:

"You say don't put our troops in jeopardy? What the hell
do you think the Iraq war is? What greater jeopardy could
we place our dear soldiers than to get them killed?"
