Will You Tune In to Watch Karl Rove Under Subpoena Answering Senate Questions?
I gotta tell you, if Senator Feinstein delivers on her stated intentions to make Karl Rove testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee about his shabby role in pressuring U.S. attorneys to do the biddings of the Republican Party against the Democratic Party, I will be glued to my television.

Will you watch?

Will you be making popcorn for the occasion?

Karl Rove under oath! Will he take the 5th? Will he even show up?

Will the sphincter muscles in the Republican party be working overtime?

6. he won't show--and I wouldn't watch--it will be nauseating enough just reading about it afterwards.
snowjob already said staffers NEVER go to the Hill, so they are clearly going to stonewall.

I cannot stomach even looking at these repulsive people, much less listening to them.

7. I'd watch
but I don't think that he would tell the truth if he thought he could get away with lying instead. Being under oath means nothing to these bastards. Their statements are calculated according to whether or not they think they can get away with a lie, if a lie will serve them better.

12. He will invoke 'executive privilege' and refuse to answer any questions...
Of course nothing will stop the questions from being asked while he is sitting there.

Then everyone will know that the 'constitutional crisis has arrived.'

If Rove were to leave office before he was subpoenoed to appear and testify, they would have a better chance of forcing him to testify or take the 5th Amendment privilege(which must be based on a good faith belief that your testimony will subject you to criminal prosecution).

21. When it happens, yes
I think there's going to be a hell of a fight to get that bastard there, it'll probably go to the SC, and i don't think even these justices will allow kkkarl to live outside the law. In the meantime all their efforts to protect * and his rover is going to erode the support that * has left, even the dirty thirty are going to meltaway.

I just saw Witch Oh Burn (aka Kate O'Beirne) on Hardball state that there's nothing unusual about a President replacing his U.S. Attorneys, UNLESS it was done for the WRONG reason (i.e. influencing an investigation). If even the Witch admits the possibility that monkey business was going on, that's a major breach in the castle wall and the peasants are now about to assault the Castle Keep itself.

24. Does anybody think that this won't turn up before the FSCOTUS?
F stands for Fascist

recall what they did with Cheney's Energy Taskforce records

I can't imagine this will turn out differently

they'll probably do what they did in 2000, and say this doesn't set any precedent, as it overturns all rulings against Clinton when he argued for Exec Priv
