I watch the senate on Cspan2 off and on. Today I turned it on and there was kennedy screaming at the republicans asking them what they wanted from the working poor. What more could they do. Why do they hate the poor so much as to deny them minimum wage and yet, give more and more to the rich.
His was angry big time. I never have seen anything like that. He was yelling and ripping on them and saying he hopes everyone knows what they are trying to do and that it's the repugs keeping the poor from getting 2.00 more an hour while the party does big give aways to the rich.
It was so powerful I almost cried.
It was amazing.

also, Sherrod Brown gave his maiden speech in the Senate and both Kennedy and Byrd stood up and spoke how great his speech was and how well done and passionate it was. They said they hoped the middle class knew they had a powerful and paasionate new voice in the senate. He must be walking on air....

2. I feel the same way.
I think he really wants this party back to its roots. The Dem populist wing vs. the corporate wing. The open government wing vs. the secrecy and privilege wing.

Not hard to figure who occupies those wings of our party.

4. I heard it! I turned on c-span while I was working on taxes...
It was great! He is still a very powerful voice! He got the Republicans told about how they keep trying to block the minimum wage vote with ALL those amendments they keep proposing!
