I am sorry if this has been already addressed, but is there a problem with the stream today or is it my computer?

2. I have had streaming problems for several days.

The stream conks out and says, "Please tune back during broadcast hours."

So far the best remedy has been persistence. I keep hitting it until it connects.

3. Is it the 'this stream unavailable' message?

I get that from time to time, especially during Randi Rhodes. I signed up for AAR premium (69.95 per year) and although I still get the message now and then, I substitute with a Sam Seder show, or another archived show.

Man, it's so nice to have no commercials during Randi. Premium archives have zero commercials. Totally worth it.

PS: I understand AAR is one of the top-bandwidth streams on the net. Not surprising.

5. I could be wrong...

...But I play internet radio all day in my store and I've noticed problems connecting to certain popular stations at peak times, I think the servers get overloaded...wouldn't surprise me if AA was VERY popular right now...

other stations that carry the shows I want to listen to.

8. Thank you everyone

The "please tune back during broadcast hours" has been going on for several days. Now, it won't load properly at all.

I'll try the alternative suggested above.

As for the AAR streams, who knows? They've been goofy for the past week or so. I assume the AAR people know what's going on. Seder's site is actually linking to mine for listings of alternate streaming links. And Bob at Air America Place said that he was going to bring it up with the people in New York.
