Bush and Paulsen are getting the bill they proposed, in the form of 'HR 3997'. It's the same 3-page bill, except it is buried within 110 pages of essentially meaningless crap. It provides absolutely NOTHING but empty tokenism for Main Street, while still giving Sec. Paulsen unprecedented power to manipulate the markets. This is a gamble we cannot afford to shoulder for many years to come. This proposal should be completely trashed. Congress needs to start from scratch, without the involvement of Paulsen or anyone from this despicable, corrupt administration. We watched Bush and his cronies loot the public treasury for 8 years, and are now being asked to give Wall Street one last slop at the trough. They'll pocket our grandchildren's money and sail off into the sunset.
