Kate O'Beirne Didn't Even Make Excuses For AG Gonzales

She was just on Hardball and talked about how the attorneys can be replaced for any reason but not a bad reason. And since the firings were handled so badly, Justice can't even depend on support from old allies.

This was in response to the fact that some Republican members of Congress are fed up, too, and speaking out. John Sununu has even called for the AG to step down.

Seems like she went to stating the facts about the Repubs in Congress speaking out. She sounded defeated unless I was reading a little bit of dejection into it. :D

look at the emails. They (the pubs) should be pissed. One email discusses how they are going to "run the clock out" if any Senator objects to the replacement plan or the chosen replacement themselves. It clearly states how they would pretend to be listening to the complaint, but wouldn't do anything about it. They said they would ignore their own no matter what the objection was.

They should be damn pissed. After all, all that water has been damn heavy for too many years to be treated like nothing more than an annoyance!
