6. 10 years mandatory for election fraud...

... is what Senator Chuck Schumer, D-NY, has been quoted as saying. Lets hope they get some real change on these and other white collar crimes.

9. Thanks Brad - your perseverance is appreciated
Freeper's will dismiss this as appeasement for whining Dems - the rest of us KNOW that the eventual result will be more honest elections.

13. Shows you can't trust appointed Dem workers in Dem county to count DEM votes!!
CYA and avoiding holiday work, and in general protecting the "quality" of the "professional" work done on the first count, either by the recounters or their coworkers, is a HUGE conflict of interest.

Lesson learned: Recounters should be from the public and the first count too has to be publicly supervised and preferably have public involvement as well.

People, human beings, don't EVER want their work to be judged harshly so the bend over backwards and use every plausible excuse to justify it being ok, and when that doesn't work they commit felonies.

Remember: the bipartisan boards saying all and the recount were ok in Ohio was probably the #1 justification for suppression of the Ohio story in the press!! Subsequently cited by the notorious Farhad Manjoo, and by Hertsgaard in Mother jones. This shows that its bogus even to cite democratic elections officials purporting to vouch for the first count. They basically would have to come to the belief that they were duped and become whistleblowers before they would say much that's bad about the first count.

15. Not to mention that...

"Democratic" elections officials in Ohio are not necessarily Democratic.

Remember, this is Ohio.

Just sayin'.
