The "confession" has been out for 24 hours....
...I don't watch TV so this is strictly an opinion, but I have a feeling that this "confession" has no legs to it and is "bombing" on a minute by minute basis.

Sorry, MSM, but your puppet strings have been cut.

6. Kahlid Sheik Bad Hair's confession.....
...as the mastermind behind 9/11, the WTC bombings, the Cole, athlete's foot, the tragedy of psoriasis, the Hindenburg, John Stockton's last minute attempt to win game 6 against Michael Jordan's Chicago Bulls, the list is endless....

16. Khalid Sheik Mohammed confessed
to causing Bill Buckner not to put his glove down in the top of the 10th with Ray Knight at 2nd and Mookie Wilson facing Ray Stanley with 2 out and the score tied 5-5 Red Sox/Mets.

That was his greatest evil deed - Shea Stadium October 26, 1986.

5. CNN has already been scoffing at it this morning
Dude just couldn't have done everything he claims. Just couldn't have. Even Miles O'Solidad scoffed and commented that it kind of makes you wonder what's been going with him since they caught him -- he didn't specifically suggest that perhaps they simply tortured him until he confessed to everything but the Lindbergh baby kidnapping, but it was pretty clear what he meant.

This ain't gonna fly. This fits the BushCo MO perfectly...a flood of bad news and suddenly POOF! We either catch a top bad guy, or find an unattended back pack on the subway.

*yawn*

My only concern is what they'll try next now that no one even trusts them to tell the truth about what Bush had for breakfast anymore.

Osama bin Laden is from Saudi Arabia. It seems that Bush must have been in a drunken stupor during geography class.

7. assume it is true. What does it mean?
For the past years we have been hearing that bin laden was the mastermind of 9/11

now they are saying something different

Remember they also said Iraq had WMDs, and used their surrogates to spread a connection between 9/11 and hussein, even though they knew both statements were false

The person they now say is the mastermind of 9/11, and even bin laden are NOT from IRAQ. In fact both were living in Pakistan and Afganistan at the time.

What does this say?

It says we have invaded a country, based on a LIE, and killed a lot of civillians for NOTHING

They asked Hillary Clinton yesterday if being gay was moral or immoral.

I ask them if invading a country based on a lie was moral or immoral?

15. And he was captured on March 1, 2003, in Pakistan, in a CIA operation.
A law enforcement operation. Before we ever invaded Iraq.

I think, though, that you should be apologizing to Bush, rather than the MSM, for the trimming of the puppet strings. ;-)

20. It made today's NYT (print) headline: but with one big qualifier ..
Suspected Leader of 9/11 Attacks Is Said to Confess

Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, long said to be the mastermind of the Sept. 11 attacks, confessed to them at a military hearing held in Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, on Saturday, according to a transcript released by the Pentagon yesterday. He also acknowledged full or partial responsibility for more than 30 other terror attacks or plots.

“I was responsible for the 9/11 operation, from A to Z,” he said.

http://www.nytimes.com/2007/03/15/us/15gitmo.html?_r=1&hp&oref=slogin

'"Said" to confess,' confesses the NYTs headline. "Said" by whom? "Said" by the Pentagon, of course! "Said" indeed by a written transcript from the ever-so-straightforward USDOD. In fact, the quote attributed to Khalid Shaikh Mohammed (“I was responsible for the 9/11 operation, from A to Z”) sounds more like the quintessential Donald Rumsfeld (" .. and north, and east, and south and west ..") than an al Qaeda mastermind.

No. You make not again try to blow smoke up my ass. Blow smoke up your own ass, Mr. Rove.

23. ABC news said this a.m. that Khalid made the statement that
OBL was a figurehead to Al Qaeda, the equivalent to the US George Washington.

Is ANYBODY buying that this guy is the brains behind everything Al Qaeda has ever done?
