14. As weird and as mentally unstable as Ashcroft is |
|
I believe he left because he had had enough of Bush.
When you're freaking out John Ashcroft, you're one freaky mofo.

Nixon's guy...his wife Martha called the press in the middle of the night all the time...she was nuts and her hubby was a crook.

12. I always thought she was framed as a 'nut' because she saw what was going on and wanted to spill |
|
the beans. I think she got the short end of the stick, and even her hubby sided against her.

24. I love Martha Mitchell's famous quote... |
|
Edited on Thu Mar-15-07 05:28 PM by roamer65
“Nixon bleeds people. He draws every drop of blood and then drops them from a cliff. He'll blame any person he can put his foot on.”
* is Nixon times 3, or 4...or more.

23. Gonzo probably takes the cake |
|
Other candidates are Harry Daugherty (Harding), John Mitchell (Nixon) and Edwin Meese (Reagan). As bad as Ashcroft was, I don't think he competes with Gonzo or the other three just named.

15. Resigning Will NOT Save Him From Appearing Before Congress |
|
He will STILL have to appear. However, if he resigns, he will no longer be able to hide behind executive privelege.
