By avoiding Senate confirmation, they PLANNED once again on placing unqualified crony hacks

into positions of great power. How many times do we have to see this pattern? Harriet Miers would have never passed Senate scrutiny. Brownie should have never been in his position. This is just more of the same - only now applied to certain key jursidictions of the US Attorney's districts. Does Karl Rove's little buddy really have the chops to pass a Senate confirmation hearing?

I think the White House, the AG's office and Specter colluded with their cute little dismemberment of the check and balance of Senate confirmation. I think Specter has as much to answer for as anybody.

When you get these guys in front of the Committee, I think we should focus not just on the job performance of those they were moving out, but also on the QUALIFICATIONS of the people they planned to move in.

If these e-mails keep turning up, i'm assuming there could be an email from one of Rove's peoples to somebody about inserting that provision in the Patriot act.

Since 2005 Rove was trying to replace any non "Bushies" in the USA job, not only to get rid of the one's who were doing their job too well going after corrupt Republicans, but ones who would also be Bush stooges.

The second part of that couldn't be accomplished with senate oversite, so mysteriously a change gets entered into the Patriot act.

No possible chance that's a coincidence.
