If you want out of Iraq soon, support the Bush surge.
Notice all the reports claiming the Surge's success: "Violence down in Baghdad," "U.S. troop deaths lower," etc... We know nothing is permanently changing for the better in Iraq as a result of the Surge. We know the Shia militias are waiting the U.S. out. Bush knows this too. However, I envision a scenario where Bush has instructed al Malaki to order the shia militias underground long enough for the Surge to appear to work. Such an appearance allows Bush to declare victory and begin bringing troops home before the end of his term. We know Bush is highly conscience of his legacy. I do not believe he will let the next administration "win" or "lose" the Iraq war. For his legacy, Bush will win the Iraq war -- before November 2008.

1. I don't think so............
What I think will happen is that he will attack Iran on some pretext or another.

2. But George Dubya Bush believes God will let him win
...so why would he be asking Malaki to help with appearances in Iraq?

5. Do you think Maliki has that power?
I disagree that they way to end the occupation of Iraq is to try to occupy it more.

8. Malaki's power
It's not that Malaki has much power. Rather it is in the interest of the Shia to wait us out so that Bush can declare his victory and bring the troops home -- Mission Accomplished!!

6. Sorry to contradict this, but Bu$che will attack Iran if he "wins" Iraq.
Even if he doesn't "win" he might start the PNAC'$ Disaster (for We the People, surely not a disaster for the petro-MIC CEOs), Phase 5 (1. 911, 2. Afghanistan, 3. Iraq, 4. Katrina, and 5. Iran).

"I don't think you can win it." - pResident Bu$h, 2004.
