Especially considering how tight this administration has been with information? :shrug:
Perhaps with the change in Congress and political climate, the worker bees in the administration who are just fed up are leaking like rusty buckets, and perhaps this administration really is undergoing a massive, spectacular collapse, but there's still something a bit weird about all of this to me. After six years of this administration, everything that happens comes with a little bit of paranoia on my part. It's kind of like Jason from the Friday the 13th movies - you just never, ever believe that they're really dead. :scared:

Because this makes it look like it wasn't a purge of non-loyalists.

We are all buying it because they are dangling it out there as if they are "secret" emails getting out.

Well how do emails just "get out"? There's no investigation. How would it happen?

Rove Kabuki is what this is.

We will pounce on theis "he wanted to fire them all" thing and then they will say, "look, this was January 2004, right after the election! Everyone does it. Move along"

But after all the horror we have seen in the last 6 years , maybe many of us are hoping they fall but simply can't trust anything that appears to be good news .

I know I am suspicious of everything these days and find no reason not to be . After all look at all the hope gone down hill already .

I am sick of being dissappointed . Each day we are hit by another set of findings along with another set of distractions .

All the talk about the carrier groups in and headed for the gulf is gone and Walter Reed is out of the news so is the next distraction planned out , the admin has offered others up for sacrifice before to save themselves like Rummy and he is still in his office in the pentagon doing what , god only knows .
