Just got my current copy of NEWSWEEK

On the page across from the Table of Contents is an Army recruitment ad, showing a mother and her military son, with the quote "Sometimes being strong is as simple as being supportive".

I have no problem with the ad in general, but the picture almost made me spew beer on the magazine. It shows a good looking young black man in full camouflage fatigues with his arm around a woman who could be a twin to Condaleeza Rice.

Thinking I might be seeing things, I showed it to my SO, and she agreed with me that she was a dead ringer for her.
After the brouhaha the Admin put forth regarding Barbara Boxer's comments, I just have to believe that this was in retaliation for the "slight" Boxer gave Condysleeza.

Anyone else see the resemblance of it it just these old eyes seeing things?

2. It was one of the Ads in the magazine,

and I don't imagine they put the ads in the online magazine.

I also looked, hoping I could post a copy online, but it ain't there.
