I support Nova M Radio. To listen to Malloy? You betcha…

I never in my life listen to ‘talk radio’ until DU turned me onto his Air America Radio show. In late 2004, I was desperate for knowledge and someone to speak the truth.

Thanks to Malloy and my other favorites, Sam, Randi, & Thom (unfortunately cannot listen every hour of the day) for my daily dose of sanity.

So, yes, I support Nova M Radio. I sent in my Founder’s membership (via US Post office – never Pay Pal for me)

3. I like them too but they charge

too much for me . I would pay 5.00/month for podcasts. Unless I am wrong they are charging about 10.00 per month.

White Rose Society, Stephanie Miller, and Air America Premium all charge less.

to me it is a very inexpensive way to help insure that Progressive Radio stays on the air and I like the Mike Malloy show...

I already pay for White Rose (5/month+donations), Air America (66 dollars a year), Stephanie Miller (5 dollars per month). I think that Nova could scoop up many more listeners with a reduced price. I would happily trade Stephanie Miller for Mike Malloy but not for double the cost.

For all the problems with AirAmerica 66 dollars a year is money well spent. You get both Thom Hartmann, Randi Rhodes, and others for for 1/2 the price that you could get Mike Malloy and a few less interesting others on Nova-M.

I am going to email them today. If I get no response, like I did when I queried the Young Turks (also too expensive at 10/mos) I probably will not subscribe. If I get a response that makes sense I probably will subscribe. I do want to help to keep them on the air. It's ironic that the radio show that is a strong voice for economic fairness is priced like an exclusive club. They have to be realistic about pricing. I was concerned when I listened to Mike the other night and there wasn' t a single commercial that wasn't a public service ad.

Long response--but it's an important topic -- I think right wing domination of the air waves is largely what got us in the mess we are in today
