KSM was never tortured, nor did he confess
because he was never taken alive...

A chilling inheritance of terror
By Syed Saleem Shahzad

KARACHI - Ever since the frenzied shootout last month on September 11 in Karachi there have been doubts over whether Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, the self-proclaimed head of al-Qaeda's military committee, died in the police raid on his apartment.

Certainly, another senior al-Qaeda figure, Ramzi Binalshibh, widely attributed as being the coordinator of the September 11 attacks on the United States a year earlier, was taken alive and handed over to the US. The latest information is that he is on a US warship somewhere in the Gulf.

Now it has emerged that Kuwaiti national Khalid Shaikh Mohammed did indeed perish in the raid, but his wife and child were taken from the apartment and handed over to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), in whose hands they remain.

Sources close to Pakistani intelligence agents say that the wife, under intense interrogation, has revealed information that is likely to lead to a new crackdown in Pakistan, as well as in Southeast Asia.

1. I don't know... The article sources
"Pakistani intelligence agents" for their information. Isn't this a pretty compromised crowd?

4. There was a Pak connection to 9/11
some of the hijackers' money came from the Paks and a senior Pak official has been connected to the attack.

3. ISI has their own agenda
and it would have been in their interest to kill KSM to prevent revealing his connections to the ISI. He was killed in an apartment in a military housing complex. This would indicate that he had some help from someone inside the pakistani government.

Profile: Omar Saeed Sheikh

Educated in Britain, he went to Bosnia and Kashmir

British-born Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh has been sentenced to death for abducting and murdering US journalist Daniel Pearl.
Omar Sheikh, 27, was born in London, attended the London School of Economics and was a close associate of Maulana Azhar Masood - founder of the banned Jaish-e-Mohammad (JEM) group, which India blames for an attack on its parliament in December 2001.

His father, Saeed Ahmed, was a Pakistani clothes merchant from Wanstead in east London.

12. Hmm.......kind of like many of our own sources here in America?
Personally they are as valid as the ones we have here at this point.

If you haven't noticed, we've been lied to about JFK and seemingly for decades before that time.

Its becoming increasingly apparent the one's being accused of wrongdoing by this Administration are most often the victims of abuse themselves and in most circumstances the ones who are being scapegoated/used as a patsy of sorts.

8. not KSM
I think that's why they don't want any witnesses at the tribunal.

The whole think was a big scam to make people think we were getting information from him. It's for the same reason that OBL will never die and give some an excuse to end the "War on Terror."
