New Book claims Bill cheated on Hillary since leaving office in 2001
http://www.examiner.com/a-622179~Yeas___Nays__Friday__Mar__16.html

Tyrrell claims that Bill Clinton has continued to womanize since he left office in 2001.

“During Clinton’s retirement there have been other ladies, though most, according to my sources, have been one-night stands with hostesses on Clinton’s speaking tours,” Tyrrell writes. “Some of these girl-hops, sources report, took place in Ireland, France, Australia, Taiwan, Rio, and London.” Tyrrell also claims Bill took to jet-setting in order to offset depression and a difficult domestic living situation with Hillary. (“The tirades and flying objects directed by her at Bill’s defenseless skull are not fictions invented by Clinton-haters. ... There would be more spousal abuse during Clinton’s retirement when his amours threatened Hillary’s political longevity.”)

“The Clinton Crack-Up” takes the 42nd president to task for his pardons, his financial ties to China and the United Arab Emirates and his poor track record helping Democratic candidates win elections: “he Clintons have never been particularly good for the Democratic Party.”

Sen. Clinton is certainly anticipating stories such as those detailed in Tyrrell’s book as she continues her quest for the White House. On Tuesday, Clinton reiterated her famous “vast right-wing conspiracy” charge, first leveled in 1998 in response to the initial allegations of her husband’s relationship with Monica Lewinsky. And New Hampshire Democratic Party chairwoman Kathy Sullivan seconded the notion.

“People think we’re paranoid when we talk about the vast, right-wing conspiracy, but there is a real connection of these groups — the same names keep popping up,” Sullivan said recently. “They are the most disgusting group of political thugs that I have ever seen.”

A spokesman for Clinton did not respond to a request for comment.

2. Holy Crap Emmet Tyrell's an ass
His article this week was on what bad form the Clintons showed in not letting him use a photograph of Bill Clinton and him together in this book. What an ass!

3. Didn't you hear?
Since a vast majority of the Republican presidential candidiates have done the same thing, the right has decided that womanizing isn't that big of a deal anymore. ;)

29. I thought Cal Thomas said Repugs have 'matured' and
grown beyond petty concerns about who's horsing around.

If Bill Clinton didn't exist, the Repugs would have to invent him.

5. I don't know who's worse, Bill or Hill.
I'm telling you right now, we cannot trust that man to keep it in his pants. He's a man whore.

I don't want to hear about Hillary cutting off Bill's instrument and having the secret service bury it. And it sure as hell looks like we're headed for that episode. Hill's about to go Bobbitt on Bill.

8. Before you start in on Bill you might consider the source.
"American Spectator founder and Editor in Chief R. Emmett Tyrrell Jr."
I would like just a teeny bit more reliability in a source before I made any judgements about Bill's behavior in the last 6 years.

10. It's truly none of our business ... but a political weakness.
We all know certain couples where the husband "cats around" and the wife looks the other way. It's not for me and I was disappointed that HRC didn't kick Bill's butt down Pennsylvania Avenue. No, she was mature about the situation. In that area, Hillary's a much better woman than me, i.e., I may not have divorced him but I'd of went a Little off of the skids.

However, consider HOW MANY womanizing allegations have been leveled against The Big Dog? Then face the fact that they can NOT statistically be ALL part of the right wing's well orchestrated smear machine.

Bill Clinton has one of the highest IQs of any of our Presidents but he also has a personal weakness: Compulsive Womanizer. (perhaps an sub-category of sex addition)

HRC knows it ... she's known it since they were married. As long a Bill is discreet, it's OK by her if he cheats.

Finally, as unfair as it may sound, if HRC wins The Presidency, she will have to keep a TIGHT leash on her better half lest we will have to endure another Clinton WH sex scandal.

Woof! Big Dogs RULE! ;)

12. That relationship has been disfunctional for quite a while now
What is Bill looking for in his life that he's not getting elsewhere? Warmth, security, personal closeness to someone? I'm sure there's a psychoanalysis framework he fits. Probably relates to his childhood. And she has her own issues. But for the fact they need each other politically, they'd have split long before '92.

22. I agree
It's a marriage of convenience. And don't single out the Clinton's for dysfunctional marriages. With half of marriages ending in divorces, I'd say another 25% of the people who stay together are "marriages of convenience" and dysfunctional in many ways.

People who shouldn't be married stay together for many reasons. Whether it's the children, financial reasons, or just the enormous hassle of "change" and going through a divorce, a lot of couples "look the other way" or live in "de nile."

14. Exactly how would this hurt Hillary?
In fact, I would think this would help her as many would sympathize and empathize with her. But consider the source - Tyrell has been crotch-sniffing so long, he has totally become addicted to the Clintons, esp Bill. He needs rehab and some strong meds.

Emmett to Bill: "I wish I knew how to quit you."

Oh, in a way it would be fun to watch them "go nuts" over Bill's antics.

24. It is sooooo tempting
to just whore myself out, write a book that blames the Clintons and liberals for everything from Pearl Harbor to the sitcom "Threes Company" (as a liberal, I'm still sorry about that)...and just watch the $$$$$'s roll in.

People like Tyrell, Coulter, Limbaugh, Hannity, Boorts, Savage, etc - have meen mining gold from the "25-percenters" for decades now.

I guess if a person doesn't have a soul - it's easy money.

35. The New York papers have talked about how he's always out and about with attractive women around NYC
Edited on Fri Mar-16-07 10:21 AM by gauguin57
So this is not news. New Yorkers know he's out running around (and, really, would you have expected him to be home with his needlepoint? this is the Big Dog we're talkin' about).

We knew what he was when we voted for him. Enthusiatically. Twice.

And who cares, anyway? Most of the GOP presidential contenders are wife-dumping skanks, and I'm supposed to give a hoot that Bill is gettin' some action?

That said, if Hillary IS the nominee, we'll have to have a little talk with Billy Boy. Cuz even with all the GOP skanks, Billy running around with chippies all over New York is not gonna fly.
