it's important. Americans pay (slightly more) attention when the parties involved are attractive. Also, normally the pubs try to spin it this way:

-a woman they consider unattractive will be mercilessly mocked for her perceived physical faults. (see Pelosi)

-a woman they deem attractive will be made into a brainless child, and they will try to make the attractiveness work against her. (see any number of Hollywood actresses)

She's gonna be hard to spin, but I'm sure right now, in an underground bunker somewhere, the plans are being drawn.
