The Whitehouse defense is that they did not know Plame was covert. They are using this hearing to
make that point. I hope we prove otherwise. It blows my mind that the most repukes will protect party over country.

1. If she was not covert
the treasonous bastards had no motive to expose her identity. What value would exposing the identity of an insignificant, totally minor bit player at the CIA have? They have to lie because they no long know what the truth is. And the liars on the right wing noise machine should be subpoenaed and testify to their motives. They enabled traitorous activity and they should hang as well.

5. The new claim is she was covert, but White House didn't "Know" she was covert --
Edited on Fri Mar-16-07 11:53 AM by emulatorloo
This is being repeated over and over by Rep Tom Davis (r) -- they are acknowledging she is covert, but claiming that there is no evidence that the White House knew she was covert.

So the outing was just a big innocent BOO BOO.

And then from there, Rep Davis claims it is the CIA's FAULT (because allegedly they did not tell the White House she was covert.

Sounds like BullSh*t for me.

2. Plame testified under oath that she was covert.
The point has been made.

3. Unless they are willing to file perjury charges against Plame
they are no longer using that argument. She pretty much shot that argument clear out of the water and so did the head of the CIA according to Waxman.

6. Now they acknowledge she was covert, but claim White House was ignorant of the fact.
Edited on Fri Mar-16-07 11:52 AM by emulatorloo
The claim is that they did not know she was covert, because nobody told them -- so it was all just an innocent BOO-BOO.
