Sen. Rockefeller: Cheney Interfered With Congressional Hearings On Flawed Iraq Intelligence...
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2007/01/25/sen-rockefeller-cheney-_n_39662.html

Vice President Dick Cheney put "constant" pressure on the Republican former head of the Senate Intelligence Committee to stall an investigation into the Bush administration's use of flawed intelligence on Iraq, the panel's Democratic chairman charged Thursday.

In an interview with McClatchy Newspapers, Sen. Jay Rockefeller of West Virginia said it was "not hearsay" that Cheney, a leading proponent of invading Iraq, pushed Sen. Pat Roberts, R-Kan., to drag out the probe.

1. I would have to say...
That since the Libby trial started, the political/Congressional laser targeting pip has come to rest on Cheney's forehead.

There will be much more in the days ahead.

3. Yeah, he is.
You can just sense the armies of political retribution forming over the next hill. You can smell The Hordes of Payback. They are ready to let slip The Dogs of "Au Contraire, Dickey! Fuck YOU! Very Much!".

Something tells me his career of cavalierly shitting on everyone in Washington is about to be truncated. Severely. And with malace aforethought, not to mention no small measure of unvarnished glee.

4. I"m beginning to think so. The fact that the msm is fearlessly notching
him down seems sufficient proof.
They're still fellating Bush to some degree, but they aren't doing any Cheney cheerleading at all.

5. And is Roberts agreeing with this?
Wasn't he responsible for not succumbing to the pressure? This isn't just an indictment of the Cheney's motives but also of the GOP coverup.

6. Roberts
Why do you think he took himself off the Intelligence Committee even though he would have been ranking member?
