So after years of smears, lies, dodges,and a felony conviction, the Republican response to the Plame outing comes down to one simple question...."does anyone have any proof that they knew Plame was covert"? That's it. That's all they have left. And to listen to the few Republicans who cared to show up, that is the only question that matters. I can see why they all gave Bush a free ride for 6 years. The Republicans looked like clowns today. The got nuthin'. The next couple of years will be very informative with a caring Congress looking for answers.

simply a matter of administrative concern that information was inappropriately leaked and then was denied by everyone concerned. In essence he was asking, out of a simple need for administrative control and clarity why wasn't an internal investigation conducted, if for nothing else to look at how the WH operates.
