8. To me, the most stunning and important part of the testimony was from the Director of Security

of the WH and the man from the National Archives. It was shown, that Shrub lied when he said that they would be investigating the leak in the WH.
According to an Executive Order, anyone who knowingly leaked information, even if they hadn't been aware that it was classified, is supposed to notify the Director of Security, and not one ever did. So even if they didn't know that Plame was a covert agent before she was outed, they had to, under the Executive Order, come forward and tell what they did.
