All was revealed early on - "Wilson's wife is fair game"
Only of course she was the furthest thing from "fair game" a person could be. That single statement, early on, revealed that this was a vindictive outing with a specific target. Multiple hunters focused on the same target at the same time. And in the course of their hunting expedition they outed an agent, a company and unrevealed collateral assets.

It sounds like they went after her in a very pre-meditated manner. The chart proves that. Multiple leakers talking to different journalists. How is this not a crime, with multiple perpetrators, whether it is treason, or revealing classified information, or the outing an agent law?

After listening to the hearings today I have absolutely no comprehension of why Fitz did not go after Rove, Cheney and Fleisher. Even if they admitted what they did, doesn't it still mean that they get charged but plead out? Did they all cut a deal just to get Libby on the most minor of the charges? What was Fitz thinking?

1. Sometimes the obvious is so hard for some people to acknowledge.
This is the smoking gun and should be answered to by Rove. What did you mean by this statement Mr. Rove?

7. Did Tweety testify at the Scooter Libby trial about that?
...Just open up the transcripts and bring both Tweety and Rove to the hearings. The country needs to hear this.

3. it is one thing to 'know' something; quite another
to provide the hard evidence in court. After listening to the testimony today as well as scooter's trial & w/ the emerging USA scandal, if there is one thing cheneyrove have mastered, it is covering their own asses. They have that maneuver nailed. It will take someone very skillful, someone who thinks as they do, to expose them.

5. Well, I think he did. But the federal statute did not apply because its
application was so narrow. So he had to go after the secondary incidences involving LIbby. It was not perfect but it accomplished something that established guilt.

This is sad, of course. And I share your outrage. It is just what we have to make do with right now! Patience...
