We now know from two very highly credible sources, one pro-Administration and one neutral, that Wilson was a covert agent. Any doubt about that should be gone, though the helpless ass-kissing right-wingers may still say otherwise, when the CIA's director says she was covert, that's enough for a fair analyst to concede she was covert.

Gonzo doing Vader and the Emperor's bidding on shutting down the DOJ internal NSA spy probe is a big fucking deal, and it's yet another example of obstruction of justice, whether in a practical or legal sense. People are finally starting to talk about it.

Then we have the details of the US Attorney for the district of Guam and the Northern Marianas Islands being fired, right about the time he was investigating the well-known crook Jack Abramoff. (The US Attorney was appointed by Bush's father, so it's not like he's a flaming liberal or something.)

Then we have those new e-mails that showed up yesterday showing Gonzo was in on the US Attorney firing right at the beginning when he was still White House Counsel.

Then, although it seems like an eternity ago, Scooter Libby was just convicted.

And then there is Walter Reed, though that's just such a tragedy it just sucks.

This has been a pretty damn interesting month to be living in America. I have a feeling this is a "I lived through" story for grandchildren (for those folks who don't already have them. :P)
