Hey--Guess what I saw today? ?

So about 6:15 (est) I was sitting up the road from my house at the train stop. For the record; I live in NC in the piedmont area.

The engine roars through (north to south) and suddenly, about 30 seconds in, it registers to me that ALL I'm seeing is train beds (cars with nothing but the bottoms) FULL of army humvees.

I started counting train car lengths--got about 35-40 train cars at 5 humvees apiece. Looked brand new wth tags in each window.

They were painted desert sand color.

So, we're looking at 175-200 army Humvees headed (probably) to Fort Bragg.

What do YOU think that means?

I know what *I* think it means..


I don't post much in here anymore,but I thought this was worth a mention.
No suprise that Bush and co. aren't waiting for approval for Iran...

3. More likely for Iraq -- Equipping the "surge".

Iran is going to be air campaign, not a ground invasion.

In any case, I'm glad you posted what you saw -- very interesting.

4. Very interesting. I live in the flight path of Ft. Campbell

about 60 miles away. For the last 2 days there have been a lot of helicopters flying out (south). It always makes me sad.
