Condoning treason:
Edited on Sat Mar-17-07 05:55 AM by PCIntern
Is it my imagination, or did Representative Davis and that very creepy Victoria Toensing intimate that any and all Americans can blab about anything at all to anyone at all and as long as the inidividual can prove in a court of law that they were not certain that the information which they passed along was classified?

My mother worked for 5 years in the Philadelphia Navy Yard during the War and she, as a radical left-wing progressive in those days, did not utter one word of what she did, saw, or heard at work. She was, may she rest in peace, a liberal who would make many here look like Reagan, but she always said that the one thing you don't do as a citizen is undermine your Country in that fashion.

How dare these Wingers have the temerity to state that this covert status "if it existed" was basically a technicality? Those involved should be tried under whatever statutes are extant and demonstrate their ignorance before a judge and/or jury.

2. I wanted to stick my hands through the tv and wring Davis' neck!!
"Duh...we didn't know we weren't supposed to disclose CIA agents' identities. No one told we couldn't."

3. Slimy MFer...
He is the epitome of what is wrong with this bunch. He actually looks the part of one of those guys in a Bruce Willis or Steven Segal movie who plays the corrupt Congressman.

5. Ha Ha -- he definitely looks the part!
I could not believe what I was hearing from him. These people have no shame -- none at all.

Party first, money second, country third.

Fuck them.

6. Westmoreland was just as bad
"What is your party affiliation?"

He might as well have asked, "Are you now or have you ever been a member of the Communist Party?"

In his close I'm glad Waxman gave Westmoreland a broadside with some big guns! (paraphrased) "Nobody should care if a soldier or a CIA agent is a Democrat or a Republican, they are Americans."

I thought of a young Howell Heflin without the brains or class.

These guys are throwbacks to the creepy old days. "Ya got your hood fer tonight?"
