Surprisingly, TJ Holmes (weekend anchor) was very reverent towards her (although he did call her a "16 year old child").

that her uncles are in the military and support her right to speak up, because they know she supports them and the troops.

She also talked about the death threats she received.

And that anchorman asked her if she is ready to endorse a candidate for 2008. She said that there is a big field of good candidates out there and that the ones who don't have the fund raising power are not covered by the media enough.

Ava knocked my socks off. She answered every question wth great poise and intelligence. My first thought was how much smarter she seemed than most of the
talking heads on CNN! They need to hire her or give Ava her own show!

I was channel surfing when I heard the announcer say something about a 16 year old peace advocate. I knew it had to be Ava. She's as impressive on camera as she is in her posts and on her blog. If you read this thread, Ava, just want you to know you're an amazing young lady. :applause:

I saw the interview,it was great. Her parents have to be soooo proud.I admire Ava so much.She is such a caring,thoughtful person.The rightwingnuts could learn a lot from her if they wasn't so overcome with hate.
