If only the Do-Nothing-Cover-Up Rethuglican Congress had
conducted Hearings to investigate the Plame leak then they could have all the time that they wanted to ask all the questions that they wanted to whomever they wanted. If only they had held the Hearing then Davis and Westmoreland wouldn't have to whine on camera so much now about how they don't have enough time, or have so many questions, or didn't get notice that Knodell was coming, or that they don't like it when things don't go their way, or that their chairs were uncomfortable, or that it sucks to be them.

9. Seriously right, I know it is an obvious point but still it is very true.
So, why was it that they didn't hold Hearings when they had all the power? Not that they would want to get to the truth of anything eh.

11. They thought they would never lose
When one cheats in three consecutive elections one tends to become overconfident.

And before anyone asks me to wear a tinfoil hat I strongly suggest you read "Fooled Again: How the Right Stole the 2004 Election & Why They'll Steal the Next One Too (Unless We Stop Them)" by Mark Crispin Miller,

12. Waxman asked Davis to conduct hearings, letters below.

Letter from U.S. Rep. Henry Waxman to U.S. Rep. Tom Davis (PDF) (Renewing Request to House Committee on Government Reform to investigate leak) (Dec. 11, 2003)

Other letters and documents at link as well.

And just for fun.

Only on The Colbert Report: Westmoreland co-sponsors bill on the Ten Commandments and can't even name them

13. Should We Be Surprised There Are So Many Scandals
Every week a new bombshell drops due to the combination of the corruption and arrogance of the executive combined with the enabling of the greedy DeLay zealots in the House & Senate.

The real pisser is the Democrats haven't really begun to investigate yet. This shit is what's backing up out of the sewer...the results of their stupidity and arrogance that they thought they could get away with the shit that they were...and they almost did. Hopefully one day many of us can look back and feel we had a small part in opposing this regime and helping restore sanity to this country.

Many Repugnicans are still in denial...they've written their own press clippings and believe them...reality is not being very kind to freeperland these days. Sadly, it's gonna take another major ass-kicking next year for them to finally get the message...and then our real tough work will begin.

16. The pukes and quislings in Congress are complicit.
They went along with "The Bushies" when the Constitution hit the fan post 9-11.

They weren't going to let something like treason -- from outting a NOC to forging Niger documents to lying to America or to themselves, the Congress -- get in the way of their warmongering.

It sucks hard to be them. They're going to Gitmo.

17. i was just thinking about something similar--that the reason
i thought davis kept defending the wh & rove (maybe he didn't know she was covert crap) is because HE should have done this hearing when he was chair. all this shit--coming out there were no investigations--he is partly responsible for the fact that rove still has his security clearance. (but, maybe rove didn't KNOW she was covert.)

davis is a FUCK UP and he can kiss my ass!
