So there never was an investigation
According to the Administration's head of security there is no investigation nor has there been one in the years he has been there. All of Scotty's "I can't answer because of ongoing investigation" is just one more LIE piled on top of the mountain of LIES this Administration has told and been telling. IMO this one is pretty big news. Why was there no investigation. A major breach in National Security and it isn't even thought worthy of investigation....IMO this is one more "High Crime and Misdemeanor? that can and should be laid at the feet of the Administration. What possible excuse can they come up with for not even putting on a show of an investigation? They paid as much attention to this outing of a covert CIA Agent as they did to warnings given before 9-11. They are very reckless and carefree with our nation's security and that is an extremely scary idea...What other disaster is yet in our future and could the Democrats if they so wished prevent it? If this latest Bombshell (no investigation) doesn't raise the ire of America I guess nothing will.

1. Nope, there never was, not even one, nobody lost any security
clearance, and in spite of an obligation under the law there was never an investigation.

And might I say Knodell is a blowhard.

2. You should have seen Knodell testifying yesterday. My chin was
on the floor! The hutzpa of this admin knows no bounds. And I think Waxman, et al., were appropriately shocked as well.
He's already taken action; check out this thread:

4. Libby held his security clearance authority until the day he resigned.

Rove still has his. Cheney still has his.

On the chart - there are two black boxes.

No wonder Fitzgerald hasn't gone after the leaker(s). Yet. They are diffuse. By plan? Or cooperation? Or just cover-up? Another form of dis-reality?

Circles of dis-reality. Some fell out of the circle yesterday thanks to citizens who still care.

3. They called in Victoria Toensing and she explained that the
point of law - which she wrote and the way it should be interpreted - means that there was no crime to be investigated. So Karl kicked in to action and created the dis-reality of accountability while Cheney did his thing to close down Brewster-Jennings once and for all. Except. That wasn't all.

Now it's up to the citizens whether they are going to eat it.
